Highlights

The gigantic "Ryukyu Castle" floating in a sea of ​​light

The "Ryukyu Castle" in the lawn area is 34 meters long and 10 meters high, and is the highlight of the Wonder Illumination under the moonlight. A phoenix is ​​depicted soaring atop its design, which is reminiscent of Shuri Castle.

And at the foot of Ryukyu Castle, an illuminated sea, representing the ocean, stretches out before you.
The lawn area alone covers approximately 4,000 square meters, and the moment you step inside, your entire field of vision is filled with illuminations.

Light and music performance

Every hour at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour during the illumination hours, a light and music show begins, and this show is especially recommended.
There are many exciting effects, such as lights moving like waves on the sea and changing from blue to red.

The music ranges from calm, ocean-themed tunes to popular hits, and the atmosphere shifts dramatically from a dreamy, fantastical feel to a lively, flashing light show, creating a captivating contrast that keeps the audience entertained.

Creatures swimming in a sea of ​​illuminations

In the pool area adjacent to the lawn area, you can search for creatures swimming among the illuminations.
Various animals, such as sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and anglerfish, are featured as motifs, swimming and shining brightly.

Access

Located in Itoman City, in the southern part of Okinawa Island, Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Meijo Beach is about a 25-minute drive from Naha Airport.
For day visitors, parking is available in the open-air parking lot immediately inside the hotel entrance. You take a parking ticket upon entering and pay the parking fee upon exiting.
