I tried lunch at the seaside cafe "Rcafe"!

I want to eat delicious food and relax while looking at the ocean♪

With that in mind, I searched for a shop in Okinawa.

And the place we headed to was a seaside cafe in Chatan, a trendy area of Okinawa.

The dishes I ate this time were "Eggs Benedict" and "French Toast".
Perfect for lunchtime and coffee breaks!

1. What are the reasons to recommend "Rcafe"?

The location is the best thing about it!

The shop is located in the popular Chatan area of Okinawa Island.

When people think of Chatan, they usually imagine American Village.

The whole area, including the surrounding shops, has an American feel to it. It particularly evokes a Hawaiian vibe.

And best of all, the restaurant is located right on the beach, and the terrace seating where you can enjoy your meal while gazing at the ocean is fantastic.

2. What kind of shop is "Rcafe"?

As mentioned earlier, the location is as described, but what kind of menu do they have?

The main dishes are "Benedict" and "French toast."

However, even within the category of "Benedict," there are many variations, ranging from eggs to bacon.

They also have French toast with mango and berries. It's hard to decide which one to choose!

I chose the "Berry Paradise" from the "French Toast" menu!

Now, let's take a look at the actual food menu!

1. Spicy Taco Bene (Taco meat, cheese, and egg) ¥1,150 (*Drink set price, additional ¥300)

2. Berry Paradise ¥980 (※Includes drink set price, an additional ¥300)

First up, Spicy Taco Bene. And, Taco Bene?? I'm sure many of you are thinking that.

"Taco Bene®" is an Okinawan take on Eggs Benedict, adding taco meat and cheese. They've even gone so far as to register the trademark.

A spicy, tropical flavor, and quite a generous portion!

On the other hand, Berry Paradise is lovely with its generous pile of berries.

Warm French toast, sweet and cold ice cream, and a sweet and sour taste all at once!

Okinawa is the best! It has such a great atmosphere, so you should definitely try it!

4. Access to "Rcafe"

Rcafe is located in "American Village" in Chatan.

It's about a 40-minute drive from Naha city center. By bus, it takes about 50 minutes to the nearest bus stop, "Kuwae".

5. Parking Information

There is a free parking lot at American Village right next to the shop.

The beach is right in front of the parking lot, so it's perfect for a stroll after your meal.

This time I visited during lunchtime, but I also highly recommend going in the evening to watch the sunset!
