4. Tida Workshop
On the second day, after a relaxing stay at the hotel, we decided to try glassblowing in the afternoon as a memorable experience of our Okinawa trip! "Tida Kobo" is the place where you can experience making Ryukyu glass, a classic Okinawan souvenir.
This workshop is popular for its glassblowing and lampwork bead making experiences. With careful support provided, even children and beginners can enjoy creating their own original works.
You can choose a course that suits you, from the easy "Simple Course" where you work alongside a craftsman, to the "Thorough Course" where you can complete the finishing touches yourself. Your creation makes a great souvenir.
It's recommended to make a reservation for the workshop. They also sell items made by the workshop's artisans, such as sake cups and rock glasses.

5. Meat Bar & Dining Yanbaru Meat
For our last dinner in Okinawa, we headed to "Meat Bar & Dining Yanbaru Meat." This restaurant boasts a wide selection of dishes featuring Okinawa's specialty Agu pork. It's characterized by its authentic teppanyaki cuisine and bar-style decor.
Enjoy delicious Kuroge Wagyu beef packed with flavor, and seasonal vegetables harvested nearby. The appeal lies in the fresh taste that only locally sourced ingredients can offer. You can savor meat dishes that are particular about using Okinawan ingredients, such as "Ishigaki beef ribeye" and "Agu T-bone steak."
This "Agu Pork Prosciutto," aged without additives in Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture, using only Okinawan salt, is a unique product available only here! Each cut offers a different aroma and texture, melting in your mouth. It's best enjoyed with a carefully selected wine.

6. Kanoa Kokusai-dori Store
On our last day in Okinawa, we went souvenir shopping on Kokusai Street! Our first stop was "Kanoa Kokusai Street Store." If you're looking for cute Okinawan souvenirs on Kokusai Street, this store is highly recommended!
You can experience making your own original accessories and take them home as souvenirs. Using over 30 types of natural stones, you can create your own unique bracelet, earrings, or other memento.
Of course, they also sell accessories and interior goods, and all the accessories, such as shell photo frames adorned with pure white seashells, bracelets, and earrings, are handmade.
We also stock many limited-edition items that can only be purchased here on Kokusai Street.

7. Okinawa Tonkatsu Restaurant Shimabutaya Kumoji Branch
Next, for lunch, we visited "Okinawa Tonkatsu Shokudo Shimabutaya Kumoji Branch," a popular restaurant located very close to Kokusai Street.
Using homemade breadcrumbs made with natural yeast and fried in fresh Agu pork lard, the "Yanbaru Island Pork Agu Tonkatsu" boasts an astonishingly light texture. The crispy texture and tender, odorless meat make it easy for even women to finish in one go.
This restaurant's shabu-shabu is also very popular on their dinner menu. The broth, made by simmering pork knee joints (known as "genkotsu") for six hours and then letting it rest overnight, brings out the sweetness of the meat's fat, resulting in a delicious flavor.
If you'd like to enjoy both shabu-shabu and tonkatsu, please choose the "Shabu-Shabu and Tonkatsu Course."

8. Calbee Plus Okinawa Kokusai Dori Store
The last place we visited was "Calbee Plus Okinawa Kokusai-dori Store." How about some local Calbee snacks as a souvenir from Okinawa? This is the only antenna shop in the prefecture, and the cute interior is lined with Calbee snacks and goods.
The highlight is the freshly prepared food menu. In addition to freshly fried "Poterico," you can enjoy Okinawa-exclusive foods such as "Sweet Poterico" made with purple sweet potato and "Brown Sugar Soft Serve Ice Cream."
"Chura Pote," a brown sugar-flavored sweet potato snack made with three types of sweet potatoes, and "Umi Pote," the most popular item available only at the Kokusai Street store, are perfect souvenirs from Okinawa.
The original shop bag you receive with purchases of 2,000 yen or more also features a cute design that is distinctly Okinawan.
