1. A scenic terrace overlooking Kouri Bridge

The first thing that catches your eye when you arrive at the parking lot is a photo spot with the word "KOURI" lined up.
Beyond that, the Kouri Bridge and the sparkling blue sea stretch out, making it the perfect spot for a commemorative photo of your visit to Kouri Island.

And the terrace seating is definitely something you'll want to take advantage of.
The terrace looks just like something out of an overseas resort, and the flower-patterned concrete blocks surrounding it are so typical of Okinawa!

You can choose from three base options: acai bowl, fruit bowl, or coconut bowl, and then customize your drink by adding fruits and toppings to create your perfect beverage.

2. A rich acai bowl made by the owner who has sampled acai all over Okinawa.

Nankuru Kitchen's acai bowl is a sticky, creamy acai bowl that the owner perfected after visiting 20 to 30 acai bowl shops throughout Okinawa Prefecture and going through a lot of trial and error.

While acai can sometimes become slushy and diluted, Nankuru Kitchen's acai bowls are specially prepared to maintain their creamy texture for longer, allowing you to enjoy the rich flavor until the very last bite.
It's great that you can enjoy a delicious meal even after taking in the scenery.

The dish I tried this time was their most popular item, the Fruit Bowl. It features a generous topping of six kinds of fruit and crunchy granola on top of acai.

The bowl is piled high with fruits like mango, strawberries, and bananas, making a huge visual impact and leaving you wondering where to start eating.

The rich and creamy acai base, combined with the sweetness and tartness of the fruit and the fragrant aroma of the granola, made for a substantial yet satisfying drink that I could enjoy to the very last bite.

It's about a 3-minute drive from Nankuru Kitchen. The shop is located right in front of Kouri Beach.

The store is filled with Hawaiian goods, jewelry, and apparel and swimwear perfect for the beach, making it ideal for finding souvenirs of your trip.

Furthermore, there are also experience-based activities available that allow you to enjoy your Okinawa trip even on rainy days.

Kouri Island is a 30-minute drive from Churaumi Aquarium and a 20-minute drive from Janglia.
