1. What kind of place is Cafe Nanairo no Kaze?

Cafe Nanairo no Kaze is located in the forest of Yomitan Village in the northern part of Okinawa Island.
The charming interior, reminiscent of a lodge, has a "modern Japanese" atmosphere with both table seating and tatami mat seating.
 
Nanairo no Kaze (Seven Colors of Wind) is located by a small pond, and from its windows you can enjoy views of a lush, tropical forest. Okinawa has many cafes with ocean views, but a forest-view cafe is quite a refreshing change.

Inside the shop, a special atmosphere prevails, quite different from the usual cafe time. It's somehow heartwarming.

Here is the "Vegetable Set Meal (1,800 yen/tax included)" recommended by Nanairo no Kaze.
The warm, wooden plate holds about 10 different dishes, mainly featuring vegetables from Okinawa Prefecture.
 
It's amazing that something so colorful contains absolutely no meat, dairy products, eggs, refined sugar, or additives! It's popular not only with vegetarians and vegans, but also with pregnant women who are particularly careful about what they eat.

Nanairo no Kaze's style is to meticulously prepare even the smallest details that you can't appreciate just by tasting. It's no wonder they're so popular. Plus, it's wonderful to be able to try a little bit of many different dishes!

On this particular day, the menu included pickles made with locally sourced vegetables, tofu hamburgers, bruschetta, and ginger pork made with soy meat, among other things. The variety of ingredients and dishes was so rich that I couldn't stop eating!
 
I used to think that meals without meat or eggs might be unsatisfying, but I was completely wrong. The taste and texture are well thought out, and it's very filling.
 
Eating your fill of delicious food without feeling guilty... what else can you call that but pure bliss! This menu is recommended for both women and men♪

This caffeine-free "grain coffee," gentle on the body, has a fragrant aroma with a gentle sweetness, making it a delicious choice that even coffee lovers will appreciate.
 
My stomach and heart are both full and I'm completely satisfied!

[Access by car]
From Naha Airport, take the Naha Airport Expressway to Okinawa South Interchange.
After that, take Prefectural Road 85 and National Route 58 to Prefectural Road 12. Turn right at the sign for "Seven Colors of Wind" (there is a FamilyMart across the road). The journey takes approximately 70 minutes.
 
*The road becomes narrow after turning off Prefectural Road 12. Please drive with caution.
