Uta no Hi Concert

The idea arose to celebrate "song" on June 24th, the day after June 23rd, which is "Memorial Day" in Okinawa, by designating it as "Song Day." This led to the creation of the "Song Day Concert," a music festival held on the weekend of Song Day. The festival began with BEGIN, a band from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, known for hit songs such as "Shiman Chu nu Takara" and "Sanshin no Hana." It is a regular June music event in Okinawa, where "song" is deeply rooted in daily life, and expresses gratitude for "song." The festival includes stages that combine traditional performing arts, workshops, and family-friendly performances, allowing people of all ages to enjoy themselves while experiencing island culture. It is an annual music festival that shares the importance and warmth of song. In 2026, it will be held on Taketomi Island under the name "Song Day Caravan 2026."

Peaceful Love Rock Festival

The entire town of Koza will become one through music! The Peaceful Love Rock Festival will be held in Koza, Okinawa City. Koza (now Okinawa City), a gateway town right next to a U.S. military base, had many clubs, bars, and live music venues catering to American soldiers after the war, and American music culture spread there. A wide range of artists, from legends to up-and-coming artists, will perform. It's a free-admission outdoor rock festival.

JIM BEAM SUMMER FES in OKINAWA (Date TBD for 2026)

Enjoy a summer festival where you can sip Jim Beam while listening to DJs and live performances by amazing artists! The festival takes place over two days, and admission is completely free! The Okinawa-based food festival "OKINAWA FOOD FLEA" will also be held concurrently, offering local delicacies perfect for a festival, such as tacos, taco rice, hamburgers, and acai bowls.

HY SKY Fes & Pre-festival (Date TBD for 2027)

This large-scale outdoor music festival is organized by the band "HY," who hail from Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture. It consists of a pre-festival event and takes place over two days. Music resonates throughout the venue, which is surrounded by nature near the sea. There are also plenty of camping, workshops, and food trucks. Children under elementary school age are admitted free of charge, making it a great family event. At the previous "HY SKY Fes 2025," many top artists performed, including HY, Anly, LiSA, CHEMISTRY, and Ai Otsuka. The event gets better with each passing year.

MIYAKO ISLAND ROCK FESTIVAL (Miya Rock)

The "MIYAKO ISLAND ROCK FESTIVAL," Japan's southernmost rock festival, is held at Miyako Sunset Beach. Featuring popular rock bands and idol groups, it's a popular event among young people. Official tours, which include admission tickets, accommodation, and airfare, offer priority entry! Get pumped up by listening to hot music in this warm tropical paradise!

What a Wonderful World!!

Organized by MONGOL800, this festival combines the seaside with music. Its appeal lies in the fusion of sea breeze and diverse genres of live performances. The festival features many nationally renowned artists, including those from Okinawa. With stages dedicated to youth groups and students, it's a festival where you can experience Okinawan music up close.

Music Lane Festival Okinawa

The Music Lane Festival, held in Koza, Okinawa, is a circuit-style music festival where the entire town becomes a live music venue. In addition to artists, it also serves as a meeting place for people in the music industry, and attracts notable artists from both Japan and abroad! It might be your chance to get hooked on music you've never heard before!

MYSTIC JAMBOREE

This outdoor disco festival is held irregularly in Kadena Town. The venue is the courtyard of "Navel Kadena," a shopping mall adjacent to the sea. You can enjoy music, drinks, and gourmet food under the starry sky. Guests at the most recent event in 2025 included Shingo Maekawa and BES from Kariyushi 58, as well as the event's organizer, DJ KEIN, who livened up the venue.

Hatoma Island Music Festival

This festival offers a chance to experience Okinawan traditional music up close. Set on the naturally beautiful Hatoma Island in the Yaeyama Islands, it boasts a warm and intimate atmosphere where locals and tourists come together to enjoy themselves. Because it's not a large-scale event, you can leisurely enjoy the sounds of the sanshin (Okinawan stringed instrument) and island songs, and other aspects of Yaeyama's musical culture that you don't often get to experience.

IMF (Iriomote Music Festival)

IMF is a unique outdoor music festival on Iriomote Island where you can experience nature, culture, and music with all your senses. It's a festival that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from families and outdoor enthusiasts to those who want to experience local culture. There are also many booths selling handmade goods, offering massages and workshops, and IMF is an attractive place to interact with the local people.
