~Tourist Spot #1~

1. Check out the spectacular view from the straight-stretching Kurima Bridge!

[Miyako Island Tourism] Various Family Structures - Mother and Daughter Edition
Miyako Island has several long bridges built over the sea.
As a way to easily get to the island without having to take a boat, it has become important not only for tourists but also for locals.

Among them, the Kurima Bridge is the second longest in the Miyako Islands. (The longest is the Irabu Bridge.)
The 1,690-meter stretch connecting Miyako Island and Kurima Island offers a superb location for a pleasant drive, with stunning views of the sparkling Miyako Blue sea on both sides.

2. Enjoy the beauty of Miyako from the Ryugujo Observatory in Kurima.

Next, we head to the "Ryugu Castle Observatory" on Kurima Island.
This viewpoint offers panoramic views of the Miyako Blue, including the Kurima Bridge and Yonaha Maehama Beach.

The building, designed to resemble Ryugu-jo (the Dragon Palace), is three stories tall. Its unique appearance, situated at an altitude of approximately 60 meters, is particularly appealing.
Also, there are stairs, but they have handrails, so I don't think it will be too difficult.

The Kurima Bridge in front is beautiful, but the view on the other side is also fantastic, as you can see the ocean towards Nagamahama, so be sure to enjoy it!

4. Checking out wedding bouquets at Utopia Farm Miyakojima!?

[Miyako Island Tourism] Various Family Structures - Mother and Daughter Edition
After you've had your fill and left Kurima Island, how about enjoying some tropical flowers next?

At Utopia Farm Miyakojima, you can enjoy delicious soft-serve ice cream unique to Miyako Island at the parlor, as well as admire bougainvillea, hibiscus, papaya, and mango orchards.

In particular, at one of Japan's largest mango orchards, you can see juicy fruit grown without the use of any chemical fertilizers.

Since rare varieties are also cultivated, you can see that there's a lot more to mangoes than meets the eye.

In the hibiscus garden, you can see approximately 200 varieties of hibiscus, including some rare original species, so be sure to take a look!

And the bougainvillea garden is a place where flowers used in wedding bouquets bloom in abundance.
It might be fun for parents and children to choose bouquets together for the future.

At the parlor, you can also enjoy soft-serve ice cream made with homemade waffle cones and generously topped with tropical fruits grown on the farm.

There are so many kinds of tropical fruit juices available, so if you and your partner buy different kinds and share them, you can enjoy two different flavors in one go!
The conversation about which one to choose is part of the fun. Let's fully immerse ourselves in the tropical atmosphere.

After the spa, we went straight to "Yaebishi Teppanyaki" inside the Miyakojima Tokyu Hotel & Resorts for dinner.

While it's great to be able to eat without having to travel, it's also nice to occasionally enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost!

At Yaebishi Teppanyaki, the appeal lies in the fact that the chefs themselves prepare dishes using domestic Wagyu beef, spiny lobster, abalone, and other carefully selected ingredients.
Watching a magical performance unfold before your eyes while enjoying freshly baked, delicious food is simply pure bliss.
