The milk flavor is incredibly rich, yet the texture is light and refreshing.
It's delicious, of course, but many people are surprised by its size!
The "Mariya Shake" that we're introducing today can be found at "Nanapi to Honpo" inside the Ishigaki Island Ferry Terminal.
Actually, this Mariya Sheikh was recommended to me by someone from Dream Kanko, a company that operates the regular sightseeing ferries located in the same island terminal, who told me, "This is delicious."
Enjoy these island sweets, endorsed by the locals themselves.

1. I ordered a Mariya Shake.
Mariya Sheikh
S 400 yen
M 500 yen
G 800 yen
The "G" in "curveball" probably stands for Giga, so if that's the case, then M isn't Medium but Mega, and S is Super?
The shakes come in four flavors: plain (milk), coffee, chai, and awamori (Okinawan distilled spirit).
If you order the plain version, you can add sauce as a topping for free.
The sauces also include plenty of tropical flavors like mango and passion fruit.
Since I'm here, I'll order the G this time!
We topped our classic plain ice cream with mango sauce.
I couldn't seem to convey the size no matter how I photographed it, so I placed it next to a plastic bottle for comparison.

The large clear cup is overflowing with the shake, making it quite heavy!
I'll insert a straw and try drinking it.
Just as the rumors said, it's milky yet light! You can drink it non-stop.
Boom, boom, boom... I'm so full!
They also have tempting flavors like chai and awamori, and I was thinking of trying a variety of them! But it's a bit impossible (lol).
Once you reach the data limit, you can share it with your partner, friends, or family and be more than satisfied.
It would be nice to try out different flavors in the S-Class.
And then I noticed "Terra Maria (850 yen)" written in the bottom right corner of the blackboard.
I was disappointed in myself for not thinking ahead enough, realizing there was something even bigger than Mega!
G+ soft serve ice cream, this is a real force to be reckoned with.

Later, I happened to hear from an acquaintance that they had tried Teramaria before.
The sense of its weight came across very clearly.
2. If you're going to the remote island terminal, head to "Shichinin Honpo".
There are so many people drinking Mariya Shakes inside the ferry terminal on the outlying islands; it's become something of a local specialty.

Besides Mariya Shake, Shichinin Honpo is a general store located inside the Ishigaki Island Ferry Terminal, selling bento boxes, cup noodles, souvenirs, and island sandals, among other things.

This is perfect for when you're taking a boat trip with rice balls, or when you just want a little something to snack on.
Open from 6:30 AM to 18:00 PM, it's a great resource for those sightseeing on remote islands.
3. Conclusion
Mariya Shake is made by Mariya Dairy in Ishigaki Island.
If you've ever been to Ishigaki Island, you've probably seen those yellow packaged drinks with a shark on the packaging at convenience stores and the like. Those are also products of Mariya Dairy.
Besides Shichinin Honpo, you can also drink it at Ishigaki Airport. Be sure to try the Mariya Shake!
