Four recommended cafes on Kurima Island | Relaxing cafe hopping on a small island

Kurima Island Cafe

Kurima Island is a remote island floating off the coast of Yonaha Maehama Beach, one of Miyako Island's most beautiful beaches.
Just across the Kurima Bridge, this small island can be circled in about 30 minutes by car, yet it's home to a number of popular cafes.

This time, we'll be featuring popular smoothie shops, stylish cafes with a resort-like atmosphere, and much more...
Here are four cafes on Kurima Island that I can confidently recommend!

1. AOSORA Parlor

Kurima Island Cafe Aozora Parlor Smoothie
A super popular smoothie shop with long lines of customers.
This shop offers smoothies made with carefully selected ingredients that are gentle on the body.
They offer over 30 different kinds! Since they make them to order, you can enjoy a fresh smoothie.
Kurima Island Cafe Aozora Parlor Smoothie
The most popular item is the "Mango Smoothie," made with mangoes from Miyako Island.

My personal recommendations are the Mango Lassi and Fluffy Girl!
The Mango Lassi is a yogurt smoothie made with plenty of mangoes from Miyako Island, and it's one of our two most popular menu items, along with the Mango Smoothie.

Fluffy Girl is a slightly unusual smoothie containing aloe vera and pink grapefruit jelly from Miyako Island.
It contains a whopping 2500mg of collagen! Great for beauty too ♪ And also as an apology to my overly sunburnt skin (lol)
There's also a general store on the same premises, so you can look for souvenirs while enjoying a smoothie.
