Okinawa has many hotels, but among them, I, a native Okinawan who loves to eat, will introduce six hotel lunch spots that I repeatedly recommend!
Whenever I hear that a new hotel has opened in Okinawa, I get excited thinking I have to go check it out and have lunch there! Hotel lunches are often used not only for celebrations but also for family gatherings, lunch parties, or even when you want to treat yourself to something a little luxurious. They are so popular and well-established that reservations are necessary if you go on the weekend.

1. Novotel Okinawa Naha Hotel - Food Exchange "Avance" -
The lunch buffet at Novotel Okinawa Naha, located very close to Shuri Castle, is my absolute top recommendation for hotel lunches!
The primary reason is that all the dishes are delicious. The price is 2,900 yen for adults, which is not exactly cheap (although it might be considered a good deal for a hotel lunch buffet), but considering the variety and taste of the food, I think it's a great value.
They have seasonal food fairs, so even if I visit once a month, I never get bored, and I often go there as a treat for myself♪
As someone who loves Danish pastries, the croissants and Danish pastries in this bread section are must-haves that I always order seconds of.

2. Hotel Strata Naha ~ Cafe Strata ~
Hotel Strata Naha, located right next to Miebashi Monorail Station, has a café called Strata on its first floor that I highly recommend for its galette lunch!
A galette is a crepe-like dish made with buckwheat flour, and it's a healthy, gluten-free option. As an appetizer before the main course, you can enjoy seven different dishes in bite-sized portions. Salad, soup, and drinks are available as all-you-can-eat before the appetizers.
My reason for recommending this place is that they serve a fresh green salad with a vibrant, original dressing, and their corn cream soup is absolutely delicious. For the main course, in addition to galettes, they also have keema curry.
The open atmosphere of the cafe, surrounded by greenery, is lovely, and its proximity to both the station and Kokusai Street makes it a convenient place to drop by.

3. Hotel Collective Naha - All-Day Dining Vision & Emotion
Hotel Collective Naha, located on Kokusai Street, is easy to spot thanks to the heart-shaped sculpture at its entrance. Here's a look at the gourmet lunch buffet at Vision & Emotion, the all-day dining restaurant located within Hotel Collective Naha.
You can't go wrong with anything you eat! Personally, I think it's a little pricey, but it's a buffet, so you can eat as much of your favorite foods as you like and you'll quickly get your money's worth.
The sushi is made right in front of you, and the tempura is freshly fried. But what I was happiest about was the beef stew. Curry is common at buffets, but beef stew is quite rare. The meat was tender and the rich sauce was amazing; I would have been satisfied with just the beef stew!

4. Kariyushi Beach Resort ~THE DINING Danryu Mansai~
The lunch and sweets buffet at THE DINING Danryu Mansai, a Kariyushi Beach Resort in Onna Village, is only available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Some of you might be wondering, "Why would you go all the way to a hotel about 50 minutes away from Naha, where I live, just for lunch?" This restaurant, Danryu Mansai, used to be located in a sister hotel in Naha, and it was always bustling with locals every weekend. It's a buffet that satisfies people of all ages, so it's perfect for family gatherings.
I can't forget that taste, so I end up going all the way to Onna Village to get it.
On weekdays, you can enjoy a semi-buffet with a main dish plus a few extra items.
The prices are quite reasonable for a hotel buffet, so why not stop by when you're sightseeing in the northern part of the main island?

5. Ryukyu Onsen Senaga Island Hotel ~Ocean Dining Kazeniwa~
Senaga Island Hotel is close to Naha Airport, and Senaga Island is now a popular tourist spot. The restaurant's windows are glass from floor to ceiling, offering a view of the infinity pool and the ocean beyond, creating a very open and spacious atmosphere.
The best thing about this place is that you can enjoy a meal while relaxing and taking in the scenery. You can choose between steak or seafood, and you can't go wrong with either choice.
The clientele is mostly older, and the atmosphere is calm and sophisticated. It feels just right for adults.

6. Okinawa Harborview Hotel - Garden Restaurant "Printemps"
This is the lunch buffet at Okinawa Harborview Hotel, a long-established hotel in Naha City. As the name "Garden Restaurant" suggests, you can enjoy lunch while overlooking a beautiful garden.
This hotel has hosted guests from the Emperor and Empress in the past, and having lunch while overlooking the garden makes the food taste even better and puts you in a truly elegant mood.
The seasonal fairs are also worth checking out, featuring dishes themed around ingredients such as Okinawan beef and crab, as well as seasonal events, offering a truly luxurious array of dishes that are the essence of a hotel buffet. Another highlight is that the desserts aren't too sweet, making them easy to enjoy!
