Located on a hill in the Shuri area of ​​Naha, Novotel Okinawa Naha was rebranded and reopened in September 2018. Its most talked-about features were the infinity pool overlooking Naha city and the Premier Lounge on the top floor. The Premier Lounge is located on the 15th floor, the top floor of the Novotel Okinawa Naha. From the outside, it has a very distinctive circular shape. This is an exclusive lounge that can only be used by guests staying on the Premier Floors (12th and 13th floors) and the suites on the 3rd floor.

Tea time starts at 10:00 AM, cocktail time begins at 5:00 PM, and evening tea time is from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. You can enjoy a variety of meals, sweets, and drinks, including alcohol, according to the time of day.

When I visited, it was teatime before dinner.

When I visited during the daytime, there were customers enjoying themselves in their own way, sitting at both the counter seats and the sofa seats.

Since we're here, let's go in the evening too! I see they serve alcohol in the evenings as well.

Of course, in Okinawa, the beer brand is Orion♪
It was served ice-cold.

The Premier Lounge offers 360-degree views, but I definitely recommend the view of the city!

2. Infinity Pool

Just like the premium lounge, if you're going to Novotel Okinawa Naha, you should definitely check out the infinity pool on the 3rd floor.
It's a truly special setting, as if you're floating right above the city of Naha.

On sunny days, white clouds float on the water's surface, turning crimson in the evening, and then the lights illuminate the area at night, creating a beautiful night view! It's definitely a place you'll want to visit at least once during its operating hours.

The changing rooms have lockers and bath towels exclusively for pool users, so just grab your swimsuit and head to the pool!

3. The secret to the spacious guest rooms

I was a little surprised because I couldn't find any explanation about Wi-Fi in the room, but don't worry, you'll find a plausible Wi-Fi network when you search for it on your smartphone.
Register your last name and room number to start using it. It's very convenient as it can be used throughout the entire building.

The indoor wear is a cotton dress type.
There wasn't a dressing table, but there was a large hand mirror and a table and sofa, so it wasn't a problem.
A room that combines design and functionality – simply amazing!

Also, the suite on the third floor, which has a total of four rooms, is amazing!

In fact, with this terrace suite, you can go directly to the infinity pool from your room!

Upon entering the entrance, to the right, directly opposite the front desk, lies a gourmet bar that feels just like a café in the city.
The counter seats are equipped with power outlets, and when I visited, there was someone working on their laptop.

Opening hours are from 10:00 to 22:00.
The menu is diverse, ranging from coffee and tea to alcohol, cakes, and hamburgers.
In addition to counter seating, there are also sofa seats and hammock chairs in the spacious area, so please feel free to spend your time however you like.

There's a convenience store at the back of the gourmet bar. It's open from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
The selection is as extensive as a convenience store in town, and the prices are regular prices!

Additionally, there is a gym and a playroom for children on the third floor.

5. Have breakfast at a restaurant popular with locals.

In addition to the gourmet bar, Novotel Okinawa Naha has two restaurants: "Food Exchange Avance," which is open from breakfast through lunch and dinner, and "Toki," which is open for lunch and dinner.

This time, I had breakfast at Food Exchange Avance.

The lineup is a buffet style with a well-balanced selection of Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes.
They also serve classic Okinawan dishes such as Okinawa soba and champuru.

Small plates are stacked next to each dish. You can even think, "Ah, I'd like to try just a little bit."

Alright, a huge breakfast, let's eat!

Beef stew! Egg roll with sea lettuce! Mackerel grilled with basil! Delicious!
The fish was cooked to perfection, and the simmered dishes were seasoned with exquisite refinement. This buffet was characterized by its consistently delicious food.

In stark contrast to the open and airy atmosphere of Avance, Toki offers a traditional Japanese space with a focus on Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki. Lunch is served as a set meal, while dinner features kaiseki (multi-course) meals and teppanyaki.

The counter seating right by the griddle has a really nice atmosphere.
Both restaurants offer private rooms and are perfect for special occasions, making them incredibly convenient.

6. In conclusion – For an unmissable night in Naha, stay at the Novotel.

Novotel Okinawa Naha is located on a hill in Shuri, Naha. A taxi ride of about one meter will get you to Kokusai Street. It's about 30 minutes and costs around 3000 yen to Naha Airport. You might even be able to stay in without a rental car!
It's also conveniently located near the highway entrance, making it a great option if you're using a rental car.
