Chunichi Dragons 2026 Spring Training Schedule and Location

During the 2026 spring training camp, a paid shuttle bus service will operate between the training bases in Chatan and Yomitan. Those who use the shuttle bus will have a chance to receive a limited-edition trading card on a first-come, first-served basis!

The sale of original merchandise is also worth checking out. In addition to T-shirts and flip-flops, there is a wide variety of items, including a Dragons version of Koregusu (Okinawan chili sauce), making it fun just to look around.
These Dragons goods, with their distinct Okinawan flair, are definitely items you'll want to buy as souvenirs of your trip to Okinawa and the training camp.

You can also enjoy Okinawan-style cuisine from food trucks set up in front of the stadium.

It's also customary to serve "Inamuduchi," an Okinawan dish traditionally eaten on auspicious occasions like the Lunar New Year (a soup made with pork, fish cake, and konjac seasoned with sweet miso). In the past, wild boar meat was used in Inamuduchi, and it's made with the hope that the team will "charge headfirst towards victory" and "complete the training camp safely."

For the 2023 spring training camp, the first-team players will use the Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort, while the second-team players will use the Royal Hotel (Yomitan).

Mihama American Village, adjacent to Agre Stadium Chatan, is a lively theme park-like area with shopping, dining, and photo opportunities. Sunset Beach, known for its beautiful sunsets, is within walking distance, making it a popular date spot in Okinawa. Fireworks are launched every Saturday at 20:00 PM, bringing the festive atmosphere to its peak.

Located just north of the Mihama area, the Hamakawa/Sunabe area, home to a fishing port and Miyagi Beach, offers opportunities for diving, snorkeling, and surfing, and whale watching tours depart from January to March.
