Originally opened in 1994 as a pottery shop, "Tsuchi-Yume Gohan Cafe" now features a restaurant and an attached gallery where you can purchase Okinawan Yachimun pottery.

Looking around the gallery, you'll find a wide variety of items on display, including mugs that would make great souvenirs or everyday items, and adorable Yachimun pottery figurines.

Actually, most Yachimun pottery pieces are one-of-a-kind.
If you find something you like, you'll regret it later if you don't buy it right then and there!

Now, let's take a look around the store.
The restaurant is relatively spacious, with about 40 seats in total. There are many table seats, but reservations are essential.

I visited on Tuesday right when they opened, but it was full almost immediately.

Another unique feature of this cafe is that you can choose your own drink cup from the self-service drink bar!
