I went to the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium on its second day of operation! The entrance is on the second floor.

Not only is the building new, but the interior has a somewhat futuristic atmosphere. And just as I expected, there are tropical fish in the large aquarium!

Opening hours are 9:00-21:00 (last entry 30 minutes before closing / opening hours may vary depending on the day), open all year round.

If you're coming from Naha by bus, the nearest bus stop is "Michi-no-Eki Toyosaki," and it's about a 5-minute walk from there.
The 55 Makiminato Line, 56 Urasoe Line, 88 Ginowan Line, and 98 Ryukyu University Line all depart from major bus stops in Naha City (Kencho Kitaguchi) for 470 yen one way, taking approximately 35 minutes.
If you are coming from Naha Airport, take the 95 Airport Ashibinaa Line for 250 yen one way, which takes about 25 minutes. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk.

There are also sightseeing bus tours that include a stop at the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium.
