BEACH51 is known for its "rocky window" and the contrast between it and the blue sea stretching out beyond.

Taking a photo sitting on a windowsill with the ocean in the background will create a picture that perfectly captures the essence of Okinawa and gives you a sense of being out of the ordinary.

BEACH51 is located beyond sugarcane fields and through thickets.

Enjoy the untouched, natural sandy beaches and ocean, free from commercialization.

1. First, head to the Maeda Cape parking lot.

The standard way to get to Beach51 is to park at the Maeda Cape parking lot and walk there. The walking distance is about 500m one way and takes just under 10 minutes.
Street parking is prohibited in the surrounding area. Please enjoy yourselves while respecting the rules of etiquette.

The Maeda Cape parking lot has space for 180 passenger cars, and the parking fee is a reasonable 100 yen per hour.
The popular diving spot "Blue Grotto" is nearby, and the facility is equipped with toilets, showers, and a picnic area, making it very convenient for a short break.

It gets crowded during the summer, so it's recommended to visit earlier in the day.

2. Exit the parking lot and walk to the right for 7 minutes.

After leaving the Maeda Cape parking lot, turn right and follow the paved road along the sugarcane fields.

This is a residential street, and there are both pedestrians and vehicles passing through at certain times of the day, so please remember to be considerate of others.

After walking for about 7 minutes, you'll see a stylish pizza place called "Pizzeria da ENZO" with a predominantly white exterior.

3. Take the road diagonally across from the pizza shop towards the sea.

Turn towards the sea at the intersection where the pizza shop is located, and proceed along the farm road.

As you continue along the farm road, you will arrive at a fork in the road where it splits into two paths.

Going to the left will take you to the top of the cliff. Going to the right will take you down to a beach with a window in the rock.

Since the area is overgrown with plants, those who are concerned should take precautions against insects.

4. Arrival! The classic photo spot: the rock window and the cliff top.

Similar to the rock windows, the cliffs jutting out into the sea are also popular photo spots.
Since we're going, we might as well go to both.

4-1. The Rock Window

If you take the right fork in the road, you'll find stairs leading down to the beach.

To the right, facing the sea, there is a large rock on the beach with a large cave-like opening in it, so go straight into the rock.

We've arrived at the rock window!

4-2.On the cliff

At the fork in the road, the left path continues, lined with lush vegetation on both sides.
It's a little difficult to walk, but if you keep going straight, you'll reach the top of the cliff.
A panoramic view of the ocean stretches out right before your eyes!
Drone photography is popular on cliffs, but if you don't have one, a selfie stick can help you take photos that make the most of the location.
