Hi there! I'm an office lady from Naha. Tonight I went to a hidden gem of a restaurant called "BACAR OKINAWA" located on a back street in Kumoji.
I had a sudden craving for pizza after work, so I took a chance and called, and miraculously, I was able to get a table easily with a same-day reservation! It's usually a very popular restaurant where advance reservations are essential.

I sit down at the counter and order a drink.
My favorite is BACAR's homemade sangria. It's not just sweet, but also has a sophisticated bitterness, making it perfect as an aperitif! Other delicious items include their homemade prosciutto and tuna and island octopus carpaccio!

BACAR only offers two main types of pizza: Margherita and Marinara. Both are exceptional and made with care, so we recommend ordering both!

The pizza is brought out at just the right time, right after you've finished your appetizers. I think the restaurant's rush to serve it is so that you can enjoy a piping hot, freshly baked pizza, but it's also kind of funny, so it's worth watching (lol).

We have seating on the terrace, at the counter, and at tables, but we recommend the counter at the back of the restaurant! From there, you can see the kitchen and the flames of the pizza oven straight ahead, so you can enjoy the wait time visually as well♪
