Take a break at "Agro Roasted Coffee," a chic cafe nestled in a residential area.

Agro Roasted Coffee"Aguro Roasted Coffee" is located in a residential area about a 5-minute walk from Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail.
In this city where business hotels are clustered together, our shop is quietly situated.

While looking for a cafe where I could take a break during work, I discovered "Aguro Roasted Coffee," which has a woody, retro exterior.

I was drawn in by the atmosphere, thinking, "This looks like a place where I can relax and take a break," and decided to drop by on a whim.

1. This is what "Agro Roasted Coffee" is like.

Agro Roasted Coffee"Aguro Roasted Coffee" has 6 counter seats and 2 tables inside. On nice days, you can also enjoy your coffee on the terrace.

I visited around 14:1 PM on a weekday, and it was almost completely full. Luckily, there was one empty seat at the counter, so I sat down.

The shop, decorated primarily in brown tones, is filled with the aroma of coffee, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
The place was bustling with all sorts of people: some working on their laptops, others reading, and some enjoying lively conversations with friends.

The counter is lined with jars of coffee beans, each featuring a charming illustration.
The AGURO3, which has the shop's name on it, is apparently the owner's favorite.Agro Roasted CoffeeAgro Roasted Coffee was founded in 2007. It has been loved by locals in this area for over 10 years.

The owner, Kazuya Akamine, is the youngest of three brothers, and his two older brothers also run coffee shops in Okinawa.
Incidentally, the second oldest brother runs the business."Maitoparta"We've actually featured this before on Okinawa Lab... what a coincidence!

Even while we were talking, customers kept coming in non-stop. They were also flexibly accommodating even detailed requests like, "Make it a little sweeter."
It seems like they have many regular customers, and I was impressed by how they addressed them by name and chatted with them. I really felt that this is what a cafe deeply rooted in the community is like.

2. Coffee x Sweets = A Happy Moment

Agro Roasted CoffeeLet's take a look at the menu. There are about 10 types of drinks, starting with today's hot coffee for 350 yen.
Most drinks are available for just 500 yen, and you can get refills on any drink for 300 yen.

When I asked the owner for his recommendation, he said that his top pick was the "Foamy Coffee."
Chilled coffee is infused with nitrogen and served in a glass. It looks like a dark beer, and apparently it gives you a feeling of pure bliss.

Here's the food selection. There are 3 savory options and 3 sweet options, for a total of 6 items.
You save 50 yen when you order it as a set with a drink.Agro Roasted CoffeeThere are also "secret menu" items not listed on the menu! If you're curious, be sure to ask the owner.

After much deliberation over the extensive menu, I ordered an iced coffee (400 yen including tax) and Nantaro (280 yen including tax).
After waiting for about 5 minutes, my iced coffee arrived.Agro Roasted CoffeeWith its refreshing bitterness and clean finish, it soothes a dry throat.
It's served in a copper mug, so it's nice and cold! I couldn't help but gulp it down.

Nantaro, whom I had been curious about, also made an appearance.
Homemade naan served with butter and maple syrup, perfect as a snack.Agro Roasted CoffeeTake a bite while it's still warm.
It didn't disappoint; it was chewy and fluffy, with a light texture that made it easy to eat in one go!
The bite-sized yogurts are also a nice complement. I was a little nervous about the unusual name, but I can confidently recommend it.

The owner is in charge of drinks, but all the food is handmade by the female staff.
We are very particular about using only Okinawan-grown sugar, eggs, and other ingredients in our sandwiches and sweets.Agro Roasted CoffeeFurthermore, "Aguro Roasted Coffee" also offers a wide selection of take-out options.
For in-store orders, the size is uniform, but for takeout orders, you can choose between S and L.

"Coffee ice cubes in milk" sounds delicious... It would be nice to relax in the shop, but takeout is also tempting.

As I went to pay, I was greeted by a fantastic selection of homemade sweets around the register! As mentioned earlier, these are all handmade by the female staff.

The lineup changes depending on the mood of the day, but they specialize in sweets other than chocolate and whipped cream, and those are the kinds of sweets that are usually sold in the store.Agro Roasted CoffeeIt might be a good idea to buy it as a small souvenir!

3. Conclusion - Basic Information -

Agro Roasted CoffeeSince I was there anyway, I bought some "kinako cookie edges" (the leftover pieces of kinako cookies) as a snack near the register.

This snack was absolutely delicious, with a gentle sweetness and a delightfully crispy texture that's incredibly addictive. Highly recommended!

For those seeking a peaceful oasis while exploring Naha.
For those who have come all the way to Okinawa and find chain coffee shops uninteresting...

Why not drop by and check it out?
