1. Mihama American Village

American Village in Mihama, Chatan Town, is, as its name suggests, a place that makes you feel as if you've stepped into a foreign country.
This area, lined with stylish shops, is full of Instagrammable spots.
There are many photo spots, and I'll introduce some of them here.

1-1. Near Lawson

Among the many photo opportunities in American Village, the most famous is probably the wall art of a car with "FDDI" written on it.
It's located across the street from the Vessel Hotel Campana, a building with a Lawson convenience store on the first floor.
It's located in a prominent spot along the street, but be careful as you won't find it unless you go around the perimeter.

1-2. Near Churahama Restaurant

The popular wall art featuring "feathers," which is a favorite among women, is located near Churahama Shokudo on the 3rd floor of the Distortion Seaside Building.
If you look closely at the building diagonally across to the right from the car wall art I mentioned earlier, you'll be able to see it, so try to find it!

1-3. Near hug3do

The wall art that reads "HAVE A NICEDAY" is located on the first floor of PLAZA F, immediately to the right when facing the "hug3do American Village" store.
It's located in a prominent spot near the parking lot, but it might be difficult to spot if you have a car, so try to look for the shop itself.

2. Southern Beach Hotel & Resort

The garden pool and private garden of Southern Beach Hotel & Resort in Nishizaki-cho, Itoman City, feature beautiful wall art reminiscent of bright red hibiscus flowers.
Since it's a garden, you can stroll around even without using the pool, but because it's on hotel grounds, it's generally only available to hotel guests.
Please enjoy the photo spots exclusively for hotel guests.

3. Mimi Beach Itoman

Located within the grounds of Southern Beach Hotel & Resort, approximately 20 minutes from Naha Airport, is "Mimi Beach Itoman".
This beach boasts not only beautiful ocean waters, but also features amenities designed for visitors to enjoy, such as marine activities, BBQ equipment rentals, and photogenic wall art.

3-1. Feathers inside the shop

While you can enjoy a variety of wall art at Mimi Beach Itoman, what really catches the eye is the feather sculpture, which is filled with Okinawan motifs such as coral reefs, hibiscus flowers, and flower hats.
Its appeal lies not only in its vibrant colors and beauty, but also in the fact that it's packed with elements of Okinawa.
The artwork is displayed inside the shop near the multipurpose plaza, so please be sure to check it out.

3-2. Swing outside the shop

While Mimi Beach Itoman is famous for its feather wall art, there is also a mural of a swing outside the shop.
This piece looks like someone is sitting on a swing, making it unique and a great choice for those looking for something other than the typical "feather" wall art.

4. Ikeijima Hot Springs AJ Resort Island Ikeijima

Ikei Island, located in Yonashiro, Uruma City, is a popular island accessible by car, along with Miyagi Island and Hamahiga Island.
Located on Ikeijima Island, "Ikeijima Onsen AJ Resort Island Ikeijima" is the only resort hotel on the island.
The vibrant, tropical-themed wall art is located at the outdoor pool exclusively for hotel guests, so be sure to look for it when you use it!

5. Yagaji Island Kokopelli

Yagaji Island is located just before Kouri Island, a popular tourist spot in Okinawa.
Yagaji Island is often overlooked when Kouri Island is the destination, but it has many attractive places, including lovely shops and campgrounds.
Kokopelli House NAGO, an accommodation located on Yagaji Island, features stylish wall art and is gaining attention as a little-known Instagrammable spot.
When taking photos, please be considerate of other guests and avoid causing any inconvenience.

6. Captain Kangaroo

Captain Kangaroo is one of Okinawa's leading hamburger restaurants.
With its generous portions and stylish atmosphere, it's popular with customers both within and outside the prefecture, and it's so popular that it proudly proclaims itself the number one burger that people want to be hugged by.
In October 2020, we relocated from Umosa in Nago City, and are now located in Sakimotobu, Motobu Town, along National Route 449, which runs along the coast.
The restaurant's walls are adorned with large wall art, making it a popular spot not only for its burgers but also as a photo spot.

7. BB Coffee

BB-café is a café located along the coast of Awase Bay Street in Awase, Okinawa City.
It is located about a 5-minute drive from Okinawa Prefectural General Sports Park, with the Awase tidal flats stretching out in front of it.
This popular cafe offers a great breakfast menu, but its exterior is also very appealing.
The walls of the container-style shop are decorated with the shop's logo and artwork that says "Okinawa Happy ♡," so be sure to take pictures when you visit!

8. Outlet Mall Ashibinaa

Ashibinaa Outlet Mall boasts excellent accessibility, being approximately 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport and just off the Tomigusuku-Itoman Bypass.
It's a popular spot because you can buy high-quality goods at low prices, but it also has plenty of photogenic wall art.
There are a total of nine locations where wall art has been painted, including near the information center, the parking lot, and the back of the stores, so try to find them while you're shopping!
