1. Mihama American Village

Mihama American Village in Chatan Town is a seaside shopping area that is illuminated with neon lights all year round.
The boardwalk along the coast has a relaxed, overseas-like atmosphere, while the parking lot side offers a more vibrant vibe. Plus, there are fireworks every Saturday at 20 PM, and illuminations in winter, so you can enjoy Okinawa's nightlife no matter when you visit.

2. Senaga Island Umikaji Terrace

Umikaji Terrace on Senaga Island is close to Naha Airport. During the day, the white buildings lined with shops and the blue sea create a tourist spot reminiscent of Amalfi.
At night, Umikaji Terrace is illuminated, transforming into a magical and enchanting space.
Projection mapping shows are held every 30 minutes from 19:30 PM to 21:30 PM daily on the south side of Umikaji Terrace.

3. Urasoe Grand Park Observation Deck

From the observation deck located within Urasoe Grand Park, a popular park for families in Okinawa Prefecture, you can enjoy a panoramic night view stretching from Naha to Urasoe and Ginowan.
On weekdays, there are fewer people, so you might be able to enjoy the night view from the observation deck all to yourselves.

Please park your car in the "Urasoe Grand Park Observation Deck Parking Lot," which is the closest parking lot to the observation deck.
The other parking lots are far from the observation deck, and you have to walk for a long time in the dark with few streetlights.
The parking lot closes at 21 PM, so please allow plenty of time for your journey.

4. Shuri Castle Park, West Azana

"Nishi no Azana" is located in the free-admission area on the west side of Shuri Castle Park. During the day, it's a viewpoint where you can see the city of Naha, the harbor, and the Kerama Islands, and the night view of Naha from here is also magnificent. There are no high fences, so you can enjoy the night view even while sitting on a bench.

One thing to note is that Shuri Castle Park's opening hours vary depending on the season, and in February-March and May-June, it may close just before closing time or even before sunset.

5. Amagodake Observation Deck

From the Amagoi-dake Observatory, located a 5-minute walk from Shuri Castle Park, you can enjoy a panoramic night view of the southwestern side of Naha City.
It's a small observation deck, but it's well-maintained and has benches where you can sit.
The cobblestone streets are especially slippery on rainy days, so please be very careful of your footing if you are walking to Shuri Castle from there.

6. Seaside Drive-in

This seaside drive-in is located along the coast of Onna Village. At night, its retro neon sign glows, giving it the feel of 70s America.
The restaurant (dine-in) is open from 9:00 to 21:00, while the takeout area outside the restaurant is open 24 hours.
Among the wide variety of menu items, including hamburgers and hot dogs, their specialty is soup. Its simple yet creamy flavor will soothe your soul.
